Exporting and Importing WordPress Sites

Part 1

Create a simple 2-3 pages (include images and links) WordPress site at wordpress.com. Then Migrate the site both manually and with a plugin to the multisite.

Try both plugin and manual migration process. You could migrate to two different folders. Take screenshots. Document any difficulty you encountered during the process.

I migrated from WordPress.com, I wasn’t able to make back ups through an app. I had to back everything up on my hard drive. When moving with this process, the theme is not able to go with the site. I had to use a different theme once the site was transferred. The original theme is “Attar”. The transferred site is on the “Twenty Twenty-Four” theme. However, it transferred fairy well. The differences are not too noticeable.
The plugin made it simple. The drop and drag to upload the back up file made it more user friendly.
The problem with both migration techniques is that WooCommerce tried to make everything a store.

Capture screenshots of the process to show the migration of the site.
